Greetings all,

I have been out of work for over a year and in that time have applied for well over *** jobs, I've interviewed for plenty (some more than once) but have yet to receive any offers. My unemployment is running out soon so I feel incredibly anxiety.

Recently, there has been a lot of interest in me as a candidate. Right now, there are * opportunities that I interviewed for repeatedly that are still open. I am hoping that one of these makes me an offer. One of these opportunities, in particular, would be a fantastic career move. I've interviewed for this position twice. I had a really good feeling about it after I left the second interview but then again, I've had these really good feelings about interviews in the past with no job offer to follow so I don't trust my own instinct. So I rely on any psychics in this forum to open up their intuition regarding my current job situation. Do any of you see me getting this particular job? Or do you see me getting another job?

Also, and this is important... I was recently offered an opportunity to do independent contractor work with another company through a networking contact. This company is new and I have a bad feeling about this mainly because one of the bosses is extremely condescending. I don't do well with people who are rude for the sake of being rude. Part of me has even considered not moving forward with this independent contractor opportunity but I'm worried that my unemployment will run out and I still won't have a job. Aside from the condescending boss, I don't want "independent contractor" work. I want a real job with an established company who will offer me benefits and not promises of what's to come. Been there. Done that. I want the real deal now.

So I open up the floor to any psychics who would be so kind as to shine their intuition in my direction. What do you see in regard to my situation? Should I move forward with this independent contractor opportunity for now until something better comes along?

I see Start Gazer (one of our favorite psychics) has answered your question. I will also add an answer as I feel somewhat differently about your situation then she does. Thanks again for posting on our forum.

I feel that the independent contractor work would be good interim work. Although, the individual you feel to be condescending may rub you the wrong way "a bird in the hand beats two in the bush". Of course keeping your options open is integral to any career move so avoid a long-term contract if possible. In this way when the opportunity presents itself to move into a more fulfilling position you will be ready, willing, and able to make the transition in short order.

Moreover, I feel that alleviating the stress of an uncertain financial future assists you in the long-term as your self confidence, state of mind, and presence move towards a more centered position with positive cash flow under your belt. This change in energy projects outwards and allows you to seem les desperate when interviewing for new employment opportunities.

In addition, I sense that the fact that you feel disdain towards the work culture in the position you are being offered actually plays out as positive influence driving your pursuit for a better fit in the near-term. Overall taking the contracting job feels right to me despite your ideological differences with the employer. Bright blessings to you on your path, and thanks again for posting your question.

Hello, the rude boss you mentioned grabbed my attention. I have such a steno feeling regarding this job offer. You must not accept any offer from this company or the man you felt was rude. There is more than just rudeness there. Your entire aura is at stake. There is so much negative energy enveloping that character that it is beginning to cloud you. The doubt you feel about your wanted job opportunity, and your anxiety all stem from this one, obnoxious, toxic energy. You are a good shoe in for the opportunity that you desire, it is a healthy, positive fit for you. You must contact them and inform them you are still open, and interested. Keep the communication brief. A short email with your most convenient method of contact will suffice. Mentioning that you are on the ball for training or classes to help you preform job specifications would also be great to mention...once you acquire the position. Read up on the company and job duties. You will soon benefit from this knowledge. Good luck to you! :-)

Thanks, Frederick Gimino. Your answer rings truer to me than Stargazer (sorry, Stargazer). I already started the freelance job and the condescending boss has not been a jerk since that one time in the beginning. He's actually been very nice to me all week. That said, I'm not really feeling the love for this job and I really need benefits.

I had my third interview at that one company today. Did you get any vibes regarding this job? My main concern is that they will not offer me enough money where it's practical for me to take the job. I will have to move closer to the office which is in a metropolitan area so my rent will increase. I"m okay with that as long as I can afford to do it. I have no idea what to expect in terms of salary. Do you get anything related to this position? This is the one that I have put a lot of energy into. The freelance job sort of fell on my lap. Please let me know if you sense anything about the job I interviewed for again today. Thanks.

Congratulations! I felt that the attitude might have been a one time event. I actually sensed that it was a test of sorts. I feel you may have been a bit nervous today with the 3rd interview. I sense a slight awkwardness as this is not a perfect fit for you and would require a steeper learning curve. Although, the job is slightly out of your comfort zone I sense that you may have got that the thumbs at towards the end of the interview. Best of luck in your new career!

Hi Gimel,
I was a little nervous mostly because I didn't get enough sleep last night.
What do you mean by this sentence?
Although, the job is slightly out of your comfort zone I sense that you may have got that the thumbs at towards the end of the interview.

Do you mean you think they are going to make me an offer? If so, what do you sense in regard to salary?
This job is something I'm definitely qualified for. The position doesn't require the experience I have. There is, however, a learning curve as these people know this market very well and have their own science behind what it is they do. This is a great career position for me in the long run which is why I'm hoping it works out. I get the feeling the hiring manager wants to hire me but he needs to go through the appropriate channels to formally make me an offer but I could be wrong which is why I come to you.

** views and no responses. Where are all the psychics?

Here's an update.

The job I really want has invited me for a 3rd interview with senior management (basically, my would-be boss's boss).

I started the freelance job. The condescending boss has not been so condescending these last few days which is good.

I would be willing to leave the freelance job if the other position offered me something but I guess that depends on how my 3rd interview goes.

I've been anxious and nervous and would be gracious for some psychic insight from any truly clairvoyant frequenters of this site. Sooner would be better since my interview is in the very near future.

Thanks.
