I am just wondering if a spirit is around me or perhaps it's related to something paranormal. I don't smoke and I live on my own. It was very strange.
The smoke was light white in appearance and drifted around me head.

It sounds like a form of ectoplasm. People have described it as a vapour-like white substance. Google it and see if the description sounds familiar with your experience.
It's also possible, and especially if it runs in your family, that you are a medium. If that is the case then your abilities are opening up, starting by showing you spirits, not as spirits but as white smoke. If that is the case, if you develop your abilities, with time the smoke will slowly become spirits to your eyes.
